What happens in the development step of making an app?
It comes after planning, designing and choosing the platform.
What is an event in an app? Give two examples.
Think of the actions a user performs on a phone screen.
In MIT App Inventor, where do you build the app's logic?
The logic is made of blocks.
Which block runs its instructions when the user taps Button1?
Look for the block that starts with "when".
Plan the logic for a "Guess the Number" app in which the secret number is 7. When the Guess button is tapped, the app should say "Correct!" for 7, "Too low, try again." for smaller numbers and "Too high, try again." for larger ones. Describe the blocks and write a Python version.
With three possible results, you need an "else if" between the "if" and the final "else".
A student's quiz app asks "Which planet is called the Red Planet?" but always shows "Try again", even when the user types Mars. The blocks compare AnswerBox.Text with "mars " (in small letters, with a space at the end). Find the bug and fix it.
