I think it has to do with helping others. Like doctors save lives!
Exactly! Meaningful work often benefits society. It can also fulfill personal goals. What else might make work feel meaningful?
If it uses your skills and talents, right?
Right! When you use your unique talents at work, it fosters a sense of pride. Remember the acronym C.A.R.E. - Contribution, Abilities, Recognition, Enjoyment. Can anyone relate this to their own experiences?
I help out at a community center, and I feel really good about it!
Exactly! That’s meaningful work. When we feel good, it often strengthens our identity and boosts our self-esteem.
So, it’s not just about the money?
Absolutely! While financial stability is important, we should seek careers that align with our values for deeper satisfaction.
Now, let’s talk about the environment in which we work. Why is a positive work environment important?
It probably makes you happier while doing your job.

As we move forward, let’s think about how to choose a career. What questions should we ask ourselves?
What are my skills and interests?

It makes sense! I want to do something that I love and helps others, too.
Can you really make a living following your passion?
Yes! Many people do just that. However, it takes effort and sometimes compromise. It’s important to balance passion with practicality. Who can summarize why this is crucial?
